Services: Government Reporting & Program Evaluation
Government reporting- Alert school administrators to critical state reporting requirements to ensure charter school addresses requirements.
- Coordinate data sent to state and sponsor as requested by school administration.
- Handle paperwork applications for ESEA funds; required reporting; and work with school administration and business manager amend the application if needed
- Assist in developing School Improvement Plan
- Clarify annual report data requirements; work with school leadership to ensure that systems are in place to gather these data (schools that do NOT contract with Designs for annual report writing services)
- Assist with charter renewals, as requested by school leadership
Evaluation services
- Establish and monitor the success of the school's data gathering process, with Director and lead staff, to meet evaluation data requirements.
- Analyze student assessment data and program evaluation data.
- Explain Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) system; analyze school's AYP data.
- Work with the Director and School Improvement Committee to ensure that relevant data, including AYP data, is reviewed for program improvement.
- Work with school staff to facilitate data-driven decision-making, based on the school's goals.
- Work with school leadership to facilitate computer-based testing through the Northwest Evaluation Association (for schools which opt to do NWEA testing through Designs).
- Draft annual report, under the direction of Director/School Improvement Committee, to meet requirements of MDE, sponsor and school stakeholders.
