Abdikadir Abdi

Abdikadir Abdi began his tenure with Designs for Learning in September 2024 as a Program Support Specialist. He has extensive experience in public school operations and information technology support. Before joining Designs, Abdikadir worked in charter schools as well as at Minneapolis Public Schools for eight years. At Designs, he assists clients with various reporting responsibilities, including MARSS, MCCC, and STAR. Abdikadir earned his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and his MS in IT management from Western Governors University (WGU).

Abdikadir stated that he found the team to be exceptionally welcoming and inclusive upon his arrival. The collaborative work style fosters a supportive environment conducive to learning and growth for everyone involved.

In his leisure time, Abdikadir enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and three sons, visiting the gym, and playing soccer.
