Angela Reali-Crossland
Program Support Specialist
Angela Reali Crossland joined Designs for Learning in May 2024. She is a dedicated charter school educator with over 20 years of experience in various leadership and instructional roles. She has a strong track record of collaborating with early-stage charter schools to establish foundational systems, enhance operational efficiency, and boost academic performance.
Angela significantly improved Mountain Middle School in Durango, CO, elevating it from turnaround status to a “Performance with Distinction” rating within one year. As the School Director at Pagosa Peak Open School, she made major advancements in various areas, including facilities, food service, academic success, social-emotional learning, and fiscal operations. During her five-year tenure, she aligned daily practices with the school’s mission, enhancing project-based learning and reinforcing whole-child education through restorative practices.
Angela holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and continues her professional growth with additional training in project management. Additionally, she holds a certification from GoZen to facilitate professional development in social-emotional learning concepts, including resilience, anger management, and growth mindset.
When she isn’t working, Angela enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband and their two dogs.
