Administration

Mark has been in education for over 35 years, with the majority of his time in Special Education serving students with significant behavioral issues. After a brief stint in Texas, he relocated to the Twin Cities and was with Intermediate District 916 for over 20 years. He was a teacher, a Behavior Specialist, a Due Process Specialist, and an administrator responsible for related services. Mark was Director of Special Services for the Owatonna School District for seven years. He has been an adjunct professor for Minnesota State Moorhead for the past seven years, teaching courses on Special Education Law, Behavior Management, and Special Education Assessment. Mark has his BA in Elementary Education/Special Education from the University of Northern Iowa (go Panthers!), his Masters of Arts in Education from Saint Mary's University and his administrative license at the University of Minnesota.
