Kelsey Massie

Kelsey Massie, LICSW, is a School Social Worker and Social Work Supervisor who joined Designs for Learning in 2020. She earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado College and her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University in 2016. Kelsey has extensive experience supporting youth and families, with a focus on promoting mental wellness, resilience, and independence.

Her clinical background includes early childhood interventions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, supporting at-risk youth and families in the NYC public school system, psychiatric care at Bellevue Hospital, and working with incarcerated youth in the juvenile justice system. She also served as a family consultant and mentor, helping young adults transition to independent living.

Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog. She values cultural exploration as a key path to personal growth.
