Katy Snider

Katy Snider joined the Designs For Learning family in summer 2024 as a Special Education Coordinator, bringing over 30 years of experience supporting youth and adults with special needs. Her career began in direct care within group homes before transitioning to day programs and later moving into leadership roles. Over the years, she has worked in diverse settings, including rural and urban communities, as well as traditional and charter schools.

As a Special Education Coordinator, Katy plays a dynamic role across multiple schools, providing essential support to staff and ensuring the success of special education programs. Her responsibilities vary by school, including conducting assessments, writing reports, mentoring teachers, providing training, and leading evaluations.

In her free time, Katy enjoys time with family, playing fetch with her dog, reading mystery and thriller novels and staying active at the gym.
