Pamela Meade joined Designs for Learning in 2005 and held various positions before becoming President and CEO, a role she has held since 2012. She oversees operations, drives strategic initiatives, and develops systems and procedures for Design’s core services. In addition to leading the team, she helps schools build internal capacity and self-sufficiency. She initially joined as a business manager trainer and later took on key roles across four departments: Financial Services, HR, Program Support, and Special Education.
Before joining Designs, Pamela was a business manager for Edison PPL and three charter schools and was a founding staff member of Partnership Academy Charter School. Pamela has a Master of Art Degree in Professional Communications (MPC) and a Master of Science in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution (MSCM). She has worked in the fields of legal compliance, contract negotiation, project coordination, grant management, and school finance. She worked on the Navajo Nation supporting Evaluation and Program support for Domestic Violence Prevention, Drug and Suicide Prevention programs and SEL Enrichment for youth and families for 18 years.
Pamela, her husband and her 2 grown kids enjoy skiing, music, and camping and playing with their 2 dogs.
