Ubah Mohamud

Ubah Mohamud is joining the Designs for Learning team as a Social Work Intern, completing her MSW practicum alongside Kelsey Massie, Lead Mental Health Professional. She brings a unique combination of business experience, community involvement, leadership, and a growing passion for social work and supporting students and families. After earning her degree in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas, Ubah began her career expecting to follow a traditional business path. Over time, however, she discovered that the work she found most meaningful was working directly with people, engaging with the community, and helping others navigate challenges. That realization eventually inspired her to return to school to pursue a Master of Social Work degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato
